London Restaurant Festival may be a little different this year, with its combination of โAt- Homeโ and โIn-Restaurantโ experiences, but one thing that has remained constant is the eventโs official hotel partner – the 5* lifestyle hotel Andaz London Liverpool Street.
Ensuring that once again it plays an integral part in this annual celebration of the capitalโs delicious diversity, Andaz London will host the Ultimate Gastronomic Weekend on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November.
Over the course of two unforgettable days of gastronomy, culture and entertainment, guests will enjoy a taste of the propertyโs peerless service and accommodation as part of their city-wide culinary exploration.
After checking-in at the hotel, the weekend begins with a six-course Gourmet Odyssey visiting three of the finest Michelin-starred restaurants in East London: Galvin La Chapelle, Angler and Club Gascon. On the eveningโs menu is a foodie film in Andaz Londonโs iconic Temple Cinema, with sushi from Miyako, voted as one of Londonโs top five Japanese restaurants by Forbes.
The following day after breakfast, guests will enjoy a self-guided walking tour of the iconic Spitalfields Market followed by a cocktail experience at the Baccarat bar at Harrods and a chef-hosted lunch with Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley in Knightsbridge.
The experience will be socially distanced, with individual bookings (never more than six) and no communal mixing elements.
Earlier in the month, on 8th October, Andaz Londonโs reliably quirky Rakeโs Cafรฉ Bar will be hosting an unmissable four-course tasting menu. This superlative feast will showcase Andaz Londonโs dual philosophy of reducing food waste in the kitchen and using locally sourced ingredients.
Highlights will include Wild mushroom soup with vanilla truffle foam; sustainable cod served with lemon risotto, lemon purรฉe, cured tomato & saffron cream and Dark chocolate & passion fruit delice.
Tickets are priced at ยฃ40
