The new CLA introduces the fourth generation of MBUX, Mercedes-Benz’s acclaimed infotainment system. Designed to feel natural and intuitive, it offers a hyper-personalised experience that adapts to your preferences, routines and habits.

For the first time, MBUX integrates artificial intelligence from both Microsoft and Google in one system. This allows the car to combine deep internet knowledge with advanced navigation and real-time assistance, all while maintaining the familiar Mercedes-Benz interface many drivers already love.

The updated MBUX Zero Layer places the most relevant information front and centre, including navigation, suggestions and recently used apps. Your virtual assistant – always ready to help

The new MBUX Virtual Assistant takes in-car interaction to another level. Using generative AI technology, it understands natural speech and supports multi-step conversations, just as you would speak to a friend.

Powered by ChatGPT and Microsoft Bing, it can answer a wide range of questions, while Google Gemini enhances navigation support with detailed local knowledge. Whether you are asking for directions, nearby halal dining options, or help adjusting comfort settings, the assistant responds intelligently and politely.

Displayed as a subtle Mercedes-Benz star on the screen, it can even recognise emotions and adapt its tone – creating a calmer, more human driving experience.

Navigation you can trust

The CLA’s navigation system is built on a bespoke Google Maps solution, offering accurate, real-time route guidance and intelligent planning.

For electric models, Mercedes-Benz Navigation with Electric Intelligence calculates routes including charging stops, factoring in traffic, terrain and energy usage. The system removes anxiety from longer journeys and makes electric driving feel effortless.

With MBUX Surround Navigation, drivers see a 3D view of the surroundings alongside route guidance, improving confidence in complex traffic situations and unfamiliar areas.

Advanced safety that supports you

Safety is a core value for many women drivers, and the new CLA delivers reassurance as standard. European models include comprehensive safety features and DISTRONIC Distance Assist, helping maintain safe distances in traffic.

Optional MB.DRIVE ASSIST adds steering assistance and lane-change support, allowing smooth, confident motorway driving. A gentle indicator tap is all that’s needed for assisted lane changes, reducing stress on longer journeys.

These systems are designed to support – not replace – the driver, helping prevent accidents and making every trip feel more secure.

Electric efficiency for everyday life

The all-electric CLA redefines what sustainable luxury can look like. Compared with its non-electrified predecessor, its carbon footprint is reduced by 40 per cent across the entire value chain.

Two electric models lead the launch:

  • CLA 250+ with EQ Technology, offering an impressive range of up to 792 kilometres
  • CLA 350 4MATIC, delivering enhanced performance with all-wheel drive

Both models combine remarkably low energy consumption with smooth, quiet driving – ideal for urban life and longer family journeys alike.

Fast charging, less waiting

Thanks to an 800-volt electric architecture, charging the CLA is quick and convenient. At fast DC charging stations, up to 325 kilometres of range can be added in just ten minutes.

This means fewer interruptions and more freedom – whether you are travelling between cities or fitting charging into a busy daily schedule.

A smarter battery, lower impact

The CLA features a new generation of lithium-ion batteries with increased energy density and reduced environmental impact. By using advanced materials and lowering cobalt content, Mercedes-Benz has cut the battery’s carbon footprint by around 30 per cent per cell.

Production uses renewable energy and carbon-neutral processes, aligning luxury with responsibility – a balance increasingly important to conscious consumers.

Smooth power, wherever you drive

A new two-speed transmission combines quick acceleration with efficient cruising. The first gear supports city driving and towing, while the second gear ensures relaxed motorway travel and extended range.

To further enhance efficiency, the CLA is equipped with a multi-source heat pump as standard. It uses waste heat from the drivetrain and battery, as well as ambient air, to warm the cabin – using far less energy than conventional heaters.

Electric or hybrid: flexibility to suit your lifestyle

While electric models lead the way, Mercedes-Benz recognises that different drivers have different needs. Later this year, the CLA will also be available with a 48-volt hybrid drivetrain, offering three power levels and a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Hybrid models can drive on electric power alone at lower speeds, ideal for city journeys, and recover energy through braking. This flexibility allows drivers to transition to electrification at their own pace.

Confident design with emotional appeal

The new CLA’s design blends athletic strength with refined elegance. A long wheelbase, short overhangs and sculpted rear give it a confident stance, while clean lines and flowing surfaces create a sense of calm sophistication.

For electric models, the front features a striking illuminated star panel, made up of 142 animated LED stars – a modern reinterpretation of the classic grille. Hybrid versions retain a traditional chrome grille with LED detailing.

Star-shaped headlights and taillights ensure the CLA is instantly recognisable, day or night.

Light-filled comfort inside

Every CLA comes with a panoramic glass roof as standard, flooding the interior with natural light and enhancing the feeling of space. Heat-insulating glass and protective coatings keep the cabin cool and comfortable, even on bright days.

Inside, the design is minimalist yet luxurious. The focus is on three key elements: the optional MBUX Superscreen, a floating centre console, and sculpted door panels wrapped in soft materials. The result is a serene, high-quality environment that feels both modern and welcoming.
