A classic Strawberry Lemonade for Iftar

Think classic lemonade but upgraded with the addition of sweet strawberries. Plus, it’s refined sugar-free and made with wholesome good-for-you ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chopped Strawberries
  • 2 cups Water
  • ½ cup Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • ⅓ cup Honey
  • ⅛ tsp Kosher salt

Directions:

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a blender (add the strawberries, water and lemon juice first so the honey doesn’t stick to the bottom).
  2. Turn the blender on low, slowly ramping up the speed to medium-high. Let the lemonade blend for 2 minutes until frothy and a creamy pink colour. Taste the lemonade and adjust for sweetness.
  3. Pour the lemonade through a nut milk bag to strain out the strawberry seeds and pulp. Pour the lemonade into a glass pitcher and let chill in the fridge for 1 hour or pour it over ice and enjoy immediately!

Serves: 4-5 cups

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
