Today’s announcement brings us another step closer to the undiluted freedom that travel brings.
The government unveiled the latest green light destinations and excitement is hotting up for this summer!
As of Wednesday 30th June, Spain’s Balearic Islands as well as a number of Caribbean islands will turn green, allowing travellers from England, Scotland and Northern Ireland to visit without needing to quarantine on return.
Iceland also remains on the green list and will continue to welcome British travellers as they have been doing for the last six weeks.
The government have also stated that they intend to introduce new rules later in the summer which allow fully vaccinated UK travellers to visit amber countries without needing to quarantine on return.
