Weekly and monthly checks can lower your risk of heart attack. You should contact your doctor if your reading is consistently high or low (90/60 and 120/80 is considered ideal usually.

Use them to maintain muscle mass, something we lose as we get older. Using weights also help with posture, mobility and reduce the risk of injury. Tell your parents to keep their weights in sight not tucked away in a cupboard so they can use them when watching TV.
