Tranquil Luxury – Exploring Carden Park Hotel and Spa in Cheshire

The multiple award-winning country house and hotel Spa sits beautifully on one thousand acres of tranquil lush green estate and the Nicklaus Golf Course.

Living through the region of North West England, I drive towards Wrexham and stop off at Carden Park Hotel and Spa nestled in the rural countryside of Cheshire

The Hotel and Spa garden operate in two separate buildings where day guests for the spa can visit separately. The Carden Park Estate has been awarded the ultimate luxury experience in the Northwest of England while being officially positioned as the UK’s leading and best spa for 2023.

The Penthouse Suite

Overlooking the golf course and front of the estate I stayed in Carden Park’s Penthouse Luxury Suite that exuded sheer country elegance with modern state-of-the-art features. The space consisted of a living area, bedroom, and modern en suite bathroom. The starlight ceiling in the bedroom and the bathroom gave that night sky a twinkling feeling of being outdoors the fireplace and the fitted TV in the bathroom made all the difference between standard and luxury. This would be an ideal honeymoon suite too I thought.

The Redmond’s Brassiere

The hotel offers an array of dining options one of which is The Vine Restaurant which offers fine dining options, but The Redmond’s Brassiere was my favourite and the reason why because it offered a fully crafted A- La Carte halal- menu I couldn’t believe my eyes as this was the first time I saw anything like this in a country estate hotel and I just thought finally’ and a totally genius idea of whoever created this unique invention. This was brilliant and something that made all the difference it just showed how this hotel differed from the usual country park hotel. I didn’t want anything too heavy in the evening and chose the Chicken Breast main course, which was accompanied by truffle mashed potato, butternut squash, tender stem broccoli and gravy that were cooked perfectly to texture and taste. I also chose the Peach Paradise non-alcoholic mocktail.

The Carden Spa

Although the gloomy weather didn’t do justice it did not stop me from jumping into the outdoor heated hydraulic pool that felt better in the cold weather due to the contrast of temperatures. There are three hydrotherapy pools positioned across the garden along with a fire pit area, and garden pods that look like little domes which you can sit inside and have a drink and food from the Bollinger Garden Bar. On the first floor of the indoor spa is the Elements Restaurant where you can order a traditional afternoon tea overlooking the garden spa and this will given with your spa package.

There are also days when the twilight spa evenings take place during the weekdays. The indoor Spa facilities include a salt steam room, tepidarium, aroma steam room, bio sauna, Finnish sauna and experience showers, ice fountain, indoor vitality pool and heated relaxation beds. I can’t fault the service either every member of staff was approachable and super-friendly always ready to serve with a smile. This overnight spa break includes a half-day Spa Garden and Thermal Experience in the evening.

The use of The Spa at Carden Is also available for private bookings with exclusive access to both indoor and outdoor facilities. This is one of Cheshire’s Gems and a must-visit destination. If you are looking for a night spa experience then you must try the Twilight Spa Garden Escape experience starts from £185 per person.

The Hotel also offers other adventure experiences such as Zip Line and Archery activities.
