These Five Tips Will Guarantee a Comfortable Flight

As we fast approach the summer season, more and more of us are beginning to plan our next vacation abroad. To reach our destination, it’s likely that the vast majority will be taking a plane. Whilst flying can be excited and thrilling, it can be equally frustrating and tiring. But there is a way to minimise this and enhance the experience. To prevent you from becoming exhausted on your next flight, we have put together a list of six tips that we believe will help make your journey a lot more comfortable!

Arrive Early

You’re rushing through the airport and eventually, you realise that you forgot to check something in. Even worse, you arrive late at the airport and realise that you’ve missed your flight. These are just a couple of consequences faced when arriving late at an airport. Airports can be hectic places and it’s easy to get frustrated and angry due to the myriad of issues you’ll be faced with. By arriving early, you might be waiting around longer than usual, but you’ll be in a much better situation if there are any mishaps. What’s more, you can take your time as you make your way through the airport instead of frantically running from one place to the next!

Wear Loose Clothing

Whether you’re taking a short flight to Europe or a much longer flight to Asia, wearing comfortable and loose clothing can go a long way. Not only do you provide your body with the ease of moving around, but wearing loose clothing can also prevent your limbs from swelling up excessively. Consider wearing joggers or a hoody and keep it light underneath by wearing a t-shirt. Consider purchasing ??? socks which are looser than normal allowing your feet room to breathe.

Keep Drinking Water

Hydration is key when it comes to travel in general. But when you’re flying for long hours, the pressure of the cabin can leave your skin feeling dry and rough. There are many ways of taking care of your skin when flying with the most important being hydration. Take a few sips every so often which will help in preventing headaches and dry skin.

Hygiene Is Key

If there’s one thing the pandemic has taught us, it is the importance of hygiene. Flying entails being in close contact with strangers which can be daunting. To avoid contracting any illnesses and keep yourself feeling refreshed, make sure you are on top of your hygiene routine. Use hand towels. Use hand sanitisers, wash your hands often and remember to always wipe down your tray table before consumption of any food.

Get Up & Stretch

While this may not matter much when it comes to shorter flights, it is incredibly important when it comes to long haul flights. Sitting in one place for hours on end can prevent blood from passing through your veins the way it should, which can cause swelling and discomfort. Use going to the toilet as an excuse to get up and stretch those legs. Consider stretching your legs every so often whilst your sat. If all fails, at least stand up for a few minutes every so often. Stretching will leave you feeling relaxed and relieved and can help prevent you from pulling a muscle?
