Your Home, Your Way –a new way to buy a home

Looking for a Sharia compliant way on to the property ladder can be a difficult undertaking. Standard mortgages involve paying interest on the money borrowed and may not be the right choice for lots of Muslim home buyers.

Solving this problem is Your Home. Certified as Sharia Compliant by the Islamic Council of Europe since 2020, Your Home doesn’t follow a typical interest-based mortgage structure. Their part buy – part rent scheme allows you to buy a minimum 25% share of an existing house already for sale and pay rent on the part that you don’t purchase, no lending is involved.

Homeowners with Your Home have the option to buy a larger share of the property whenever

they wish. The rent will decrease in line with your increased ownership until you eventually own 100% of the home and no rent is due, this an agreement called Diminishing Musharakah.

Not only do you get the security of a 999 year lease with Your Home, but you also have the piece of mind that your property is Sharia compliant from a comany that is committed to helping the Muslim community.
