Powered by Tariq Halal – London Halal Food Festival is back!

On the 25-26th of September, London Halal Food Festival (LHFF) in partnership with Tariq Halal will return to a brand-new location of London Stadium Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The show, which has previously taken place at Tobacco Dock, London, will greet thousands of foodies from the UK and abroad. Are you Joining them?

Now in its sixth year, London Halal Food Festival will be bigger than ever, thanks to its stunning new Olympic-sized location. There will be over 150 food and drinks stalls, plus a dedicated shopping expo showcasing everything from jewellery and home scents to meal prep kits and kitchen utensils.

Throughout the weekend there will be a range of Cookery Demos from celebrity chefs hosted by MasterChef winner Shelina Permaloo, exciting halal eat off competitions powered by Tariq Halal, and much more.

The London Halal Food Festival 2021 is organised and managed by Algebra Consulting who are also responsible for some of the world’s biggest Muslim Consumer events and platforms such as London Muslim Shopping Festival, London Eid Festival and Modest Fashion Live.

Waleed Jahangir, Managing Director at Algebra Consulting States:“We first created the festival with a view to it becoming a platform where communities and cultures could come together by simply using food as a vehicle, and it’s very exciting to see how much it’s grown over the years. We’re particularly excited to be re-launching at London Stadium, right in the heart of the community.”

Graham Gilmore, CEO, London Stadium, said: ‘We are delighted to host this exciting event on our Stadium Island which brings the food, music and culture of the Muslim community together in one place for a weekend for everyone to enjoy”.

Lyn Garner, Chief Executive of LLDC, said: “It’s great to see such a successful festival coming to London Stadium. What better place to enjoy great food and drink and amazing exhibits than Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park? It’s easy to get to, safe to visit and surrounded by world-class sports venues and wonderful parkland to enjoy.”
Ensuring the event is a safe and comfortable environment for all has been at the forefront of the planning for this year’s Festival. The new outdoor location offers maximum space for social distancing.

Furthermore, the London Halal Food Festival has officially been certified ‘Good to Go’ by Visit Britain and accredited COVID SAFE by the World Travel & Tourism Council. So all guests, exhibitors and staff can rest easy and focus on having a wonderful time.
