Running at the Prince of Wales Theatre, The Book of Mormon is the smash-hit musical bySouth Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone plus Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez, and follows a pair of Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s a long way from Salt Lake City.

The London production won four Olivier Awards in 2014 including Best New Musical, with the original Broadway production scooping 9 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

THE STORY

The Book of Mormon follows the story of two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to Uganda to convert citizens to the Mormon religion. One of the missionaries, Elder Price, is a hugely enthusiastic go-getter and dedicated to his faith; however, his partner Elder Cunningham is a socially awkward but well meaning nerd who has a habit of bending the truth – a habit which soon lands him in big trouble! On arriving in Africa they discover that in a society plagued by AIDS, poverty and violence, a successful mission may not be as easy as they expected…
